"The jokes are sly, the characters charming and likeable"

- Matt Carter, Toronto Star (Review of Couch Cases)

Kathi is a total pro. She is energetic, enthusiastic, has great chops, reads like a demon, and can do a hundred different voices. She's quick, smart, funny and fun. A perfectionist in the best sense. A powerhouse."

- Brian Woodbury, Composer

Kathi Funston is a professional singer, voice actor, and writer/producer who splits her time between performing and writing. Her lifetime love of comedy and television led her to team up with Patrick Ortman to write and produce the hit comedy web series, Couch Cases. The show has been featured in USA Today and the Toronto Star.

An accomplished vocalist, Kathi has been singing for over 30 years and has received several accolades during her career, including being named a top singer in the state of Texas and twice earning first chair out of 500+ singers in All-Region/All-State Choir. She has a music degree from the world-renowned University of North Texas, where she performed as lead soprano and soloist with the Jazz Singers (named "Best College Jazz Choir" by Down Beat Magazine) for four years, releasing three albums and touring the U.S. with the group.

As a session singer, Kathi has lent her voice to musical theater productions, film & television scores, and commercial voiceover & jingles. She currently performs with her vocal jazz group, Turnstyle, as lead soprano and music director. Kathi lives and works in Los Angeles.
