Kathi is a session singer with a stunning 3.5 octave range, allowing her to sing comfortably as lead soprano down to low alto. She is a proficient sight reader and is experienced in both solo and group singing. Her ability to blend with other voices in groups of all sizes, ranging from an intimate four-piece vocal jazz group to a 100+ piece choir, makes her a wonderful addition to film scores, background vocals, a cappella groups, and other choral works, both live and recorded. Kathi recently sang for several years with Metropolitan Master Chorale and Los Robles Master Chorale as a soloist and chorister on world premiere concerts and productions such as Considering Matthew Shepard. A trained jazz vocalist, Kathi specializes in vocal jazz improv as well as a variety of other styles ranging from pop to country to indie music. Her voice is like a chameleon! At home, Kathi enjoys doing character voices and making silly sounds with her kiddo.
